JUNIOR BEACH TOURNAMENT AT WEST KIRBY
We’re running a Junior Beach Tournament at West Kirby Beach on Friday June 15th. There are competitions for U14s and U16s boys/ girls/ mixed, teams of 4. Entry is free. It would help the organisers a lot if you could let us know in advance the number and gender of teams you plan to enter - just send an e-mail using the contact link at the foot of the page,
JUNIOR CLUB INVITATION
If you are between13 and 15 Wirral VC is offering a series of weekly IMPROVERS SESSIONS on Sunday mornings at Woodchurch Sports Centre from 10 to 11am, starting on Sunday May 13th. Improve your game by training with qualified coaches. Cost £2 per session. Let us know you are interested using the link at the foot of the page or just come along.

Wirral Volleyball Club is now Liverpool FC’s junior hub-club under their Premier League 4 Sport Community Sports Development scheme. Two of their future stars, academy players, Brad Smith and Kristjan Emilsson visited our Woodchurch after-school club along with an LFC press/ publicity team on Wednesday 25th April. U18s FINISH 2ND IN MVL DIV 2
We couldn’t play our final matches of the season as Bridgewater Diamonds weren’t available and a leaking sports hall roof led to the cancellation of the match against Livepoles. Although we were able to claim the games Sankey ended up two points clear to win the league. All a bit disappointing after a strong season for our young team.
U18s THROUGH TO MVL MINOR CUP FINAL
A stuttering performance was enough to get us through to cup final in a scrappy game against MMU Cheshire on Tuesday 24th.
‘A’ TEAM OUT OF MVL CUP
Our third game against CWaC this season and our third 3-2 defeat. It was close and I thought we had them this time but we faded towards the end ... Match report
FINAL NVL TRIANGULAR
Our National league team had an up and down day on Sunday April 15th, playing as badly as we have all season against North Riding Eagles, then turning in one of our best performances against RAF Hawks. You win some, you lose some... Match report
DISAPPOINTMENT IN U18s LOSS AGAINST SANKEY
Playing with a squad weakened by the Easter Holidays Wirral U18s couldn’t quite find enough to beat Sankey in the top of the table clash. With three games still to play we now have to win them all to take the league title.... Match report
