This will be the Round 1 of 3 of a new Merseyside League competition. Men’s and Women’s mini-tournaments played side by side on the two courts at Woodchurch. It is a handicap event with teams lower down the leagues given a starting points advantage in each set nad giving lower placed teams a chance to win. Points will be added up over the three mini-tournaments to decide the winners. 

If we can get 8 or 9 entries in each category the competition is designed so that teams will be able to play each other once.

Wirral will enter a team in the women’s competition.
