Great news, Merseyside Volleyball League is restarting as an outdoor competition to be played in a series of mini-tournaments. The first round is being hosted by Everton Volleyball Club at Sefton Park starting at 11.00am. It’s a 4-a-side competition with 5 teams involved - Wirral A, Everton Brittles, Everton Lollipops, Liverpool A, and Chester Amazons.

This was a really good start to the New MVL Sunday League. Nice venue in Sefton Park, good weather, and a well-otganised well-run tournament with 5 women’s and 3 men’s teams. Our Wirral A team did pretty well, losing out to the two Everton sides full of National League players but beating Liverpool to fininsh 4th in this round.
