Merseyside Volleyball Sunday League

A new outdoor MVL competition is being introduced featuring mens and womens leagues run in a mini-tournament format. Events will be on Sundays starting at a time between 11:0am and 2:0pm to suit the hosting club. 11 women’s teams have entered and 10 men’s teams. Five teams will be involved in each round. Playing on two courts the teams  will all play one another in two set matches. Four teams will be on court at any one time, the fifth team will referee both of the other matches. This approach is designed to keep the number of participants with COVID guidanse limits. 

Wirral have entered two teams in the women’s division, Wirral A and Wirral GIrls. There will also be a boys team in the men’s division. The match programme is shown on the Fixtures page in the website.
